My love of peace drew me to the dunes of Death Valley where I spent days wandering around Mesquite Flats with cameras in tow listening to only the wind and the click of my shutter. On the third day nearing sunset as I hiked across the hundred foot high mounds, I turned around to witness the sun's rays streaking across the sandy flats and raised a camera to my eye to capture this image. I even found a Psalms quote that seemed appropriate from 23:4 "Even though I walk though the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
