My grandfather's burial was exceptionally beautiful. He received a well deserved war-heroes send-off. He served in the army from 1952-53. His battalion was parachuted in on a rescue mission. My grandfather was the sole survivor of that mission. He rarely spoke of the medals he earned during his service. He was truly a man of honor.
