This is view of a typical West Coast Canada light station at sunset in late winter

It seems that the figure in the photo was just appropriate to define scale and depth

These are old piers from the late 19th and early 20th century from days when boats from Vancouver docked at Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast BC

This photo was captured just as the South Coast of BC was inundated by a seasonal deluge of storm fronts. I like soft muted tones in photos like this

This is one of my favourites not because of any composition value or photographic merit but simply because I simply like the scene.
