Location
In the home of a friend using just what was available at handTime
If my memory serves me correct it was a wet winters night around 7-8pm, so was dark outside.Lighting
Only an off camera flash and the overhead light bulb of the room.Equipment
Canon EOS 450D, Canon 35-105 ef lens hand held with Mecablitz off camera flashInspiration
I was looking for a model to pose for a shoot with some tattoos. A friend volunteered and after some lengthy discussions we settled on a series of shots including a reflected image.Editing
Some.......as i always shoot in RAW and then make any adjustments in the color mode before transferring all the information to a black and white image. For this particular shot, the was some darkening, shadows lifted and some sharpening of the tattoos. In my camera bag
Canon EOS 450D 18-55 ef-s and a 35-105 ef lens Just recently I have added a Sigma 150-600 lens and a Manfrotto 290 tripod with a 3 way head. Also an old Mecablitz flashFeedback
Trial and error.....but in saying that do not get overly frustrated if things don't work out the first time. In fact this was probably around shot number 10 and I was still not happy with it but my friend loved it so we settled there.
