I love this shot!! It is spooky. I think you got the lighting just right. Pretty dark with just a little hint of details in the shadows. Well done!

Location
This is a shot in a series that I took at an abandoned house. The state is doing some road widening and clearing away trees, if it wasn't for them I would have never seen the house.Time
It is nighttime, maybe around 10pm. I wanted to get milky way shots with the house, which I did.Lighting
It was absolutely dark. This was following hurricane Matthew, so the whole area was in the dark. It was perfect. My "helpers" used only LED flashlights.Equipment
This shot is set on a tripod...I used my canon & canon 16-35mm lens and remote switch.Inspiration
As we were walking around the house we came to a window. I wasn't too keen to go inside so I took the shot outside of the window. We thought it was very creepy the chair was there. I loved it! We realized the chair wasn't dusty as everything else was, so that made it creepier! We know why now, it wasn't dusty, but I'll keep you in suspense of the reason.Editing
Yes, I darkened the contrast, to make it spookier looking. In my camera bag
My canon camera, 16-35mm lens is my go to lens......100mm macro lens another fav......50mm lens....18-300mm lens...tripod...remote switch..batteries...cardsFeedback
When you see something, you have to go for the shot you want. Sometimes it takes more than once shoot. I loved this place and have gone back a few times, but now I need a new place. Patience is always key. Keep shooting!!!
