I went down on a blustery fall night to catch a sunset at Columbine Road end and with the wind and clouds wasn't really thinking I'd get much. After about 15 minutes or so the sky lit up slowly and just kept getting better and better then after about 5 minutes it disappeared. They say timing is everything.
