Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in one of the art gallery-garden here in my city. We just finished a Photowalk challenge (which was the first-time I ever did with random people and not even knowing about the challenge, just tagged along my friend) that time. Someone from the group invited me and my friend to visit this place because of an art exhibition. We were privileged to still see the arts and take some photos despite the exhibition ended the day after or will still open in few days (if my memory serves me right).

Time

If I can remember, this was taken around 8 or 9 PM after we had our refreshments and decided to take some selfies haha~

Lighting

I was a real noob with only an Iphone 5s on my hand, I didn't use any lighting and stuffs but the simple bulb light from the room helped.

Equipment

Iphone 5s. :) though I don't have it already, still felt proud about the photos I took with it.

Inspiration

Got this shot using my phone having been captured the colors and tradition displayed in this painting. I think it's rich in culture and artistry from the painter. I'm a fan of arts and a frustrated, wanna-be artist.. Though I'm not gifted with the skill, I try to learn the art of appreciating and understanding them.

Editing

For this, I think I just used some filters on my phone or lifted the colors using Adobe Lightroom.

In my camera bag

Phone and only that.

Feedback

Just be open-minded and think that anything can be a work of art. If you think you're an artist or a good photographer, then be it. Confidence is a virtue. (I know, I once gone through it).
