Location
I took this Photo on Iceland in front of the Seljalandsfoss.Time
We were there in the early morning to avoid the mass of people coming there the whole day.Lighting
I was a cloudy morning so the light you can see here is a diffused light through the clouds.Equipment
I think a took this photo free handed with a shutter-speed of a 1/160 sec an with an aperture of f4 for that blurry background. I used an canon 70-200 with 200 mm focal length.Inspiration
To be honest I was inspired for this photo by another photo I have seen times before. So I looked for that location, for this bench and had luck with that diffused light.Editing
Whit lightroom a processed this photo and in photoshop I had to delete some poles with a barrier tape, but this was easy done.In my camera bag
I have in my bag now my Sony A7ii, a Zeiss 24-70 mm lens, quite new a 100-400 mm Sony lens, a 90mm Sony lens and a 14mm Samyang lens. In most cases I´m carrying a tripod, sometimes my travel tripod my Manfrotto our a sturdier one my Manfrotto as well. I´m discovering the possibilities of flash lights and so I´m carrying sometimes three Yongnuo speedlights with me, a reflector with 30cm in diameter for some macros and all the things everybody carries with him.Feedback
The strength of this photo lies in the composition, in the foreground with that bench in the left and in the lower third of the photo and the blurry background. For that background I uses an open aperture and a long focal length.
