This photo was taken during photo shoot with IPC (INTI Photography Club) where I joined. In some occasion the club held photography event with certain theme. This photo was taken during "Fresh in The Morning" theme. It's located in The Breeze communal mall in Bumi Serpong Damai of Tangerang Selatan, Banten Province of Indonesia.Time
I remember this picture was taken on June 04, 2016 around 09:30 am. Actually this was my first time joined photography event with the club. The reason was the location near by my residence. I never photo sexy model before. We hired three models that time. We split the participant into three groups. This model, Shiva Aprilia, was the first model in my group. Since this was my first experience, I so nervous. I never learn how to shot sexy model before. Add up my tremor in both hand, so, it's really trouble some that time.. ha.. ha.. ha.. I feel lucky for this result actually.Lighting
Lighting on the event quite challenging. Since the sun has rise up. We look for some location with soft shadow. The light condition was not good because it was back light. I just lucky when I pressed the shutter my other friend also did so with the flash on. So, it help me to fill in the light for the model.Equipment
I use Canon 650D, with Canon Lens EFS 18-55 F3.5 - 5.6 IS II. I used flash Yung Nuo 560II.Inspiration
Since the event was club activity I just follow the groups that times. I just want to learn how to take good pictures, reducing my hand tremor challenges, making good composition, against back light.Editing
Originally this photo is in color. I use Adobe Photoshop to post processing it. I just use auto Brightness / Contrast, Auto Level before I convert it to Black and White.In my camera bag
I only have Canon 650D, Canon Lens EFS 18-55 F3.5 - 5.6 IS II, Yung Nuo Flash, Some spare battery.Feedback
Be calm, be interactive with model. Especially before the event we need to know each other. Introducing our self, be a friend of her. Call her name to direct the pose.
