This park is situated next to the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It's a wonderful patch of land in the city where city dwellers go for picnics, walks-runs and for a break away from the routine of city life.

This was taken on my first photo walk where we went through the KLCC park (where the Petronas Twin Towers are) in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The wet paches were from the nearby sprinklers. It was a hot day!Time
It was in the early evenings in Oct 2016. It was hot and humid doing the photo walk around the surrounding areas and stopped by this park for a rest. There were many old and very tall trees that had their roots and reins exposed.Lighting
It was all about the natural sunlight and shadows from the other trees. I thought the glistening from the wet patches gave it some "spice" too. I waited for the clouds to move away from the sun so that there was a clear and bright light.Equipment
I used my trusty Canon PowerShot G16 basically on Auto mode (Aperture 18/10, ISO 320, Shutter 1/1000, Focal Length 6100/1000)Inspiration
I just thought that this tree was unique and the timing of the lighting and wetness was good for a picture. I wanted to capture the freshness of the place and to enjoy natureEditing
Just a simple adjustment to contrast and colour saturation on the basic MS Photo softwareIn my camera bag
It's just my Canon PowerShot G16 as I'm just an amature photographerFeedback
I would think look at different angles for good composition and if you are playing with natural light where there are moving clouds, timing is a factor. Be patient and quick at the same time.
