Able to capture this dragonfly resting on my garden hose using my Canon EF-S 60 mm macro lens. Got down on my stomach and inched closer nor to frighten it away, but it seemed very relaxed and allowed me to get close. A rapid shutter speed ensured a clear photo. You could see the hairs on it's legs. The short DOF blurred the back wings and the grass blades. The dark red of the head and the bright red of is body was complimented by the dark green of the garden hose and the bright green of the grass.
