I was on my way to Colorado and while driving through Kansas I was not expecting to find anything worth while to take pictures of. But then a wall of an orange glow illuminated the flatlands in the distance. I stopped as I got closer, pulled out my camera and realized the wall of gold was caused by the sun being shielded by a heavy blanket of rainfall. I began to take pictures all while a loudspeaker in the rest stop blared warning for a possible tornado. I hurried up and fired this last shot and captured an incredible mixture of sunset, rain, lightning, and landscape.
