This is Matekai, one of the four Kororā Little Blue Penguins in Wellington Zoo. She has a congenital eye problem, which means she is blind in one eye. At the moment, she is starting to molt. Once a year, penguins will molt to replace any worn out feathers. Molting can last around 2-3 weeks.
