I found an old portfolio tucked away with some flat files in the basement and this was one of it’s treasures. A mixed media still life enlargement of one of the lady’s slipper orchids that I was growing in the mid 70’s. It was a cross between the multiflowering species, glaucophyllum and a large flowered commercial type, producing multiflowering large flowers. A breeding novelty at that time but the direction did not fare well commercially because of inconsistancies in siblings, and in their further cross breeding. This was one of the good ones.
