During a day trip to Darjeeling, we stopped to take in the local sights besides the UNESCO Darjeeling Himalayan Railway at around 6000 ft. While gazing around, I noticed these 2 young girls walking up the 2 ft narrow gauge rail track with a wooden block in their hands. I waited to see what unfolded and was surprised to see them place it on the track and slide on this home made roller coaster. I had a few split seconds but managed to capture their expressions of what real childhood should feel like!
