I got up early and drove to Portland, Oregon downtown area. At the time there was a lot of protests going on. I ran into this gentleman mid-morning. As you can see by the buttons on his shirt and pamphlet in his pocket where he stood on yhe current issues.Lighting
I shot this in natural light, no flash and camera was hand held.Equipment
My primary camera is a Nikon D5600, with my favorite 200mm zoom lens.Inspiration

Because of the amount of people and protests going on, i decided to limit what I carried on this day to just my camera and the one lens. Generally I have a number of lens, tripod, filters etc with me.Feedback
If you see someone who sparks something in you, don't be afraid to ask them about their story and if you can take their photo. You will be amazed at the stories you hear. I always show them the photo or photos I took.
