Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Texas. This is where they filmed the end of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".

The plain at the top (elevation 3600 Ft.) is the bottom of the Grand Canyon geologically, making it older. It's about 250 million years old. This is the head waters of the red river.
