Location
I took this photo on the Frog Photo Hunting event by Gallery Picture of Indonesia community. I am interest to joint to this event for practise and improve my experience.Time
The photo hunting event hold on Sunday, afternoon until evening about 04:00 PM (Jakarta time).Lighting
I used a daylight lighting for this photo. Shading by tress and some plants for the background.Equipment
This was shot on Nikon D7000 with Tamron 90mm f/2.8 lens.Inspiration
I am interest to take animal photos and inspired by my colleague when he took a nice frog photos.Editing
Increasing clarity and boosting the colors by adding vibrance and saturation. Adding sharpening amount also to increase the details on small object. No other adjustment on exposure, highlight or shadow. In my camera bag
When I joint for photo hunting with small object or little animal like lizard, frog or bug, usually I just bring 2 lens. Tamron 70-300mm and Tamron 90mm Macro. One flash just for backup if the weather or the sun light is to low. One camera Nikon D7000 with 2 pieces of memory cards and one backup battery.Feedback
Use daylight is better rather then using external flash for shooting animal photo. Setting the frog (little animal) on a plant or leave or small branch with some plants or tree at the background to make it looks like natural. We can set a solid background and using some flash or additional light, but it will make like a studio photos.
