Location
This photo was taken just west of the river from an elevated overlook of downtown Denver. We were actually hoping for better sunset reflections on this cloudy evening but it didn't happen so we waited around until all lights were on and the night was in it's full glory.Time
Obviously shot at night, approximately 9 to 10pm.Lighting
Many shots were taken but the longer exposure ones seemed to add more to the foreground and city activities.Equipment
I shot this with my Sony A7 MII, 24-105 Sony lens on a tripod with a shutter release cable.Inspiration
My photographic friend and I both love to shoot scenic or low light photos. So it was a descent night and we headed downtown.Editing
This photo required dodging and burning especially in the tree area along the river. It was very subdued lighting compared to the city lights. In my camera bag
My Sony A7 or my Sony A6000 depending on the amount of walking I have to do. Less walking, A7 but on vacations, I usually use the A6000 and generally carry a good zoom, a wide angle and many batteries!Feedback
Patience!!
