Behind The Lens

Location

The terrace exhibit area of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City. View of Central Park West, Upper West Side.

Time

Early evening.

Lighting

Natural light.

Equipment

A few years ago. Probably a Nikon P600, which had good quality and a strong zoom along with portability.

Inspiration

Just look at the shot.

Editing

Post-processing combined two shots shifted slightly. I also fiddled with the contrast, etc., to obtain the final result.

In my camera bag

Now, I have two bags. One I lug around a Nikon D7100 with an additional Nikkor 55-300 mm lens. The other bag is more agile with a Sony RX10iii, which does it all. Each bag is a shutter extension for use with a tripod.

Feedback

See with a thought toward the potential. Take multiple shots. Play with them and you never know what you're going to get.
