This photo was taken in my back yard after a rainstorm...I ran in bare feet over crushed rock down my very long driveway to get this shot, and I would do it again, totally worth it! my daughter, then three, ran beside me in her bare feet...she knows beauty when she sees it:)Time
this was aprox 4:30 in the afternoonLighting
the light here was all God given.Equipment
Shot with my Nikon D5100, lens is my 18-200mm Nikor. settings were: iso-200, aperture was 8 and shutter speed was 1000.Inspiration
I am constantly inspired by the light, my surroundings and people. I take pictures all day whether it be with my camera or in my head. my advice to you? never stop looking, dreaming, creating...you are only limited when you blink. keep on clickin on!Editing
I post on my facebook page E.Pratico Pics-Photography and my website, which is geared more towards wedding photographyIn my camera bag
always my 18-200, my nifty 50, my speedlight and extra cards and batteries...also snacks, who likes to be hungry? not me, and I never know where i'll end up!Feedback
yes! when you see the light begin to form the rainbow, RUN! I have found that the light will build and then peak to a point where just for a moment, all the colours will be most vibrant and distinct. Wait for it...always include a section of the foreground to give the rainbow scale and depth to your image, include clouds if you can. Be ready, take your test shots as the rainbow is forming...and enjoy!
