When I watched this moment transpire I thought, this lucky little cowgirl has a pet pony! My childhood pet was a lab mix named buddy. He would meet me at the school bus everyday and follow me into the woods, chasing away the snakes and helping me feel safe. I was fearless with my dog Buddy. I think this photo can remind anyone of their own childhood animal and maybe, if you think long enough, you can remember one of those magical moments that still light up your heart!
