Location
The flower is a dahlia from my garden. But I took the photograph in my kitchen, offside curious neighbors, flying insects and fresh wind.Time
Late in the evening and with many time to try different things, lights and positions a shot this picture.Lighting
No flash was used. The led light in my kitchen came from above under my cupboard and a little bit from the left.Equipment
My camera is a Panasonic Lumix G5, the used lens a LUMIX G MACRO 30mm / F2.8 ASPH H-HS030. Of course I needed a tripod Rollei M4-Mini and a cable release for this (and many of my) picture(s).Inspiration
Especially I like to photograph the little things, the colors of flowers and blossoms, and sometimes I play a little bit with different possibilities of light and equipment.Editing
Yes of course you noticed that! There are no blue dahlias in the nature until today. A little bit I changed the color with the white balance of the camera. And in this special case I also experimentated with software (Googles Picasa) at my computer ... sometime the blossom was blue :))In my camera bag
Normally there are two lenses (LUMIX G MACRO 30mm / F2.8 ASPH H-HS030 and LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH H-FS14140) in my bag, sometimes the tripod Rollei M4-Mini, a cable release, a few filters (grey and polarization) ... and always the Panasonic G5 camera of course :) ... ooooh Xmas is coming ... maybe in a few weeks the new G81 :)))Feedback
Be creative! Try a few different perspectives, details and lights! Make many pictures and keep only the best! But please, have always pleasure and fun and be patient until you are satisfied with the results!
