Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at a balloon festival in Gahanna, Ohio August of 2015
Time
Dusk, 6:50 pm, AUG 28TH I had been there a few hours, and was about to leave since it was getting dark. they announced over the PA system that they were about to about to start the balloon "glow" event, and a night launch. Glad I stayed. So colorful.
Lighting
The sunset was as colorful as the balloons. With the sunset, the orange off the inflation blower, the color of each balloon, how could you go wrong?
Equipment
Canon Rebel XTi, zoom lens set at 50mm, 1/30 at f4, iso of 1600. Set on a tripod.
Inspiration
The different light sources, the reflection off the people gathered around, just made sense to take a photo. ;)
Editing
Other than cropping, I don''t recall doing anything more to this photo.
In my camera bag
Canon 6D, Canon 24-105 F4L, Canon 50mm 1.4, Tamron 85mm f 1.8, 2 Canon SpeedLite 430 EX. Sekonic D-475 meter, and lots of lithium batteries. Oh, and a 2nd battery for the camera.
Feedback
Don't be afraid to try every setting your camera has to offer. Never know which setting might give you the photo that YOU enjoy most.
