The famed maple of the Portland Japanese gardens is often depicted in it's winter foliage and has received ample awards. The tree asks us who deserves the award. Mostly Mother Nature sharing her grace and bounty with us. Next the gardeners who have the decency to leave the tree in a glorious state of magnificence. We are just happy to take of shot of this bounty.
