From a recent trip to South Huron, Michigan staple "Apple Charlie's South Huron Orchard".

Apple Charlie's has a small group of farm as well as exotic animals (including alpacas and an ostrich), and many attractions including hay rides, pick-your-own-apples, a country store, fresh cider, donuts, and other baked goods made daily, and vendors and musicians in the pavilion during the weekends. They are open August through the end of December.
