Behind The Lens

Location

Battery park NYC. It was cold November day. we went to nyc for weekend for a joe Nichols concert and sight see the area. We went to battery park to see statue of liberty and where we entered was this statue. I tried to get it from the other side, but, the sun over exposed it and made it extra difficult to get the angles I really liked.

Time

The time was just after 5pm, at sunset

Lighting

The lighting from sunlight to land the background make the picture so unique all natural no filters or edits

Equipment

Just the Nikon camera 3900

Inspiration

I have a good eye for photo moments and this was one of them. Seeing the light on statue and me with high military respect took it. Yeah it can be recreated again but a certain way the lighting on it would be rare. And who knows when I’d be back

Editing

None it was perfect as was

In my camera bag

Just camera and lens with clean kit
