This is along the beautiful Highway 20 - the North Cascades Highway - between western and eastern Washington. Diablo Lake and Ross Lake are an incredible turquoise color. You have to see it to believe it. It was very cloudy and windy that day, but the clouds ended up giving a cool effect and I like the contrast of colors with with dried grasses in the foreground and the cool colors behind.
