Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Lake James in North Carolina .

Time

It was early in the morning , i remember because it was my last day in North Carolina .. We were on our way back the airport in Charlotte .

Lighting

What can i say , i was spectacular . A very low light with the color of the foliage and no wind .

Equipment

Back then i was shooting with a Casio point and shoot . No other equipment .

Inspiration

We were just walking in the forest and enjoying those beautiful colors . When i saw the reflection of the foliage on the lake , i had to try to take a picture that would remind me of that beautiful scenery .

Editing

I used Lightroom to add a little contrast and vibrance .

In my camera bag

Back then , just a point and shoot . Now i use a Nikon D7000 with a 18-105 mm ,55-300 mm and i added a 20mm . A few filters , a tripod and a remote .

Feedback

I guess i was there at the good moment . No wind , no clouds and the sun was still low . I am pretty sure that anybody can do the same one with the same conditions .
