I had my view camera set up to photograph the streaks of light as a train passed. I saw the glow of from a headlight before the train appeared, I opened the shutter, the glow grew brighter and lit up the rails, it was taking longer than I expected. I liked what I saw and realized that had probably collected enough photons, so I closed the shutter.
