Location
This is Skogafoss, in Iceland.Time
This was taken late afternoon, after a day of glacier climbing. There were tourists everywhere, yet I waited until some cleared out, and was able to take the photo in between groups of people.Lighting
There's no lighting tricks, No photoshop saturation.Equipment
I used a film camera, a Hasselblad 500C. I carried that with me up the glaciers during the day, then used it at Skogafoss.Inspiration
It's a beautiful waterfalls. The image doesn't do justice to the icy blue reflections in the wading waters below the falls.Editing
I negative scan the film, then cropped the film edges with gimp. That's it.In my camera bag
I carry a Nikon FE, a Nikon FG and a Hasselblad 500C. I use wide angle zooms for the Nikons and hasselblad. I use lomo film, Kodak, and Ilford. Spouse recently got a digital Nikon, so I'm trying that out now and experimenting with 6000 ISO.Feedback
