Location
Rotorua is a mid-sized town in the middle of the north Island of New Zealand and is known for its thermal activity. In the mid of town there is a public park area with several fenced off bubbling thermal pools and it was at one of these that I noted the particular features shown in the photo.Time
This photo was shot on an overcast day in mid-August (winter in New Zealand) 2016 and was taken at 11:37am (almost noon)Lighting
Not particularly. The sun was hidden a little but suffused sufficiently to take out the harsh features of full sunlight.Equipment
I used my little Fujifilm Finepix SL1000 on a tripod at 1/640 sec. ISO 100, and f/3.8.Inspiration
I was visiting the city for work purposes and got away from official duties a little before lunch and simply wandered down to the park and the beauty of the place compelled my to make the shot.Editing
No not really. I simply cropped it a little but left the colour untouched. In my camera bag
My Canon 750D with its 18-135mm lens and a telephoto, macro and wide lenses as well.Feedback
Simply walk around with you eyes open and camera at the ready,
