A beautiful sunset over the Rio Grande drawing the border between Texas and Mexico. Making the long 16 mile round trip on the Marufa Vega trail in Big Bend National Park, we camped out at this point. The wind was absolutely insane throughout the night with continuous gusts of 60mph+. Lets just say I didn't get much sleep with the tent slapping me in the face every minute. Thought we were going to blow off of the cliffside. Quite the landscape out here—dry and desolate with miles of canyons and mountains lining the river up to 1500 feet high in some places.
