Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my back garden which backs onto a rail embankment. The foxes were regular visitors for many years, often appearing in daylight. I took hundreds of pictures of them; & they usually came with their cubs when they were about three months old. In snowy weather an endless procession appeared, looking for food. I don't see them so often now, I think due to new housing development nearby, but still see an occasional one on the roof of my shed. Most pictures were taken through my window with a telephoto, hand held, so the focus was not always perfect.

In my camera bag

No bag, just my camera, which I always take with me when I sit in the garden, because you never know what will appear, & you have to be ready!

Feedback

Always take a camera with you, animals make great subjects, & wild ones appear when you least expect them!
