This was a shoot in Australia with Jana, an up and coming model who wasn't scared to try anything to get a great shot. We saw the waves crashing up on these rocks and she was all eager to get up there in her wet jeans and wet hair make the most of this setting. To this day she is still one of my favorite models I've had the opportunity to shoot with!

Location
This photo was taken just down the road where I used to live in Miami Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.Time
This was an early afternoon shootLighting
It was a partly cloudy day with some of the clouds diffusing the light nicely! We were in the shadows of the rocks anyway for that time of day, so we probably would still have had great lighting anyway.Equipment
I was shooting with my Canon Rebel xti. No tripod, no flash. I believe I was shooting with 18-55 lens.Inspiration
Living in the Gold Coast is all the inspiration I needed! I lived just down the road from Surfer's Paradise - the name of that city pretty much explains it all.Editing
The only post-processing I did was playing around a little bit with the shadows, highlights, etc. as well as turning it black and white through Photoshop. In my camera bag
Nowadays I mostly shoot with my Canon 6Dii along with my 70-200 and 17-35, but if I list ALL my equipment it would take up way too much space here.Feedback
Be patient, have fun, and work with an amazing model like I did!!!
