Try to find a good texture background, that have a good colour composition with your model, try not to set your model flat to your camera (one shoulder need to be closer to camera), some action to the hands and open look into the camera. And soft light of course. Try to answer to yourself - what do you like in my photo? - and try to catch it in your.
