Another image dredged up from the astro pic archive. It shows a bit of light pollution which I can't get rid of without severely degrading the image. Sodium street lamps are bad enough but it's going to get a lot worse when full spectrum LED lamps become more common.

We discovered this old abandoned farmhouse during a pleasant walk around Blanchland in north east england.

This image was taken just as the Moon was leaving the Sun's Disk.
You can see pinkish coloured solar prominences around the Moon..

This is an image of the inside of the old farmhouse. Beautiful cast iron range - sadly dilapidated, and evidence of occupation by sheep!
