I like the idea of separating the wood from the trees. It is the same with people. Looking with my photographer's eye, I am always asking myself if this particular group is likely to form a pleasing tableaux of shapes. Do they make a composition in their own right or will they create a tableaux that adds to something familiar - in this case an iconic skyline - and hopefully says something about the moment this group of people shared and looked in different ways.
