Behind The Lens

Location

I was caught in a traffic jam. On the highway to Hamburg, Germany. What to do in one and half an hour waiting? I took an orange miniature oldtimer from my dashboard and put in on the highway in front of my green bully.

Time

It was on the middle of the day, the asphalt was still hot. The miniature oldtimer, a present of my garage, has an friction drive and I moved it to the car in front of me. The driver slides the car back, so finally two adults where playing on the highway.

Lighting

With a low perspective and a small depth of field the miniature Bully looks very great.

Equipment

Shot with a Lumix GF1 with a 20 mm f1.7 in macro.

Inspiration

The chance to use the highway as decor.

Editing

Not much, some underexposure.

In my camera bag

As less as possible on the road. I like the micro 4/3 equipment of Lumix Panasonic. Or the Nikon D300 with 70 mm portrait lens.
