Wild Horses of Corolla are the last remaining herd of Spanish Mustangs on the northern Outer Banks of N. Carolina, only around 106 are left to roam free there with controlled breeding. The Colonial Spanish Mustang is currenlty on several Critical Breed lists and are a protected breed. They roam free on the beaches, through peoples yards and land, one of the great blessings of living in this quaint town!
