Thanks to an excellent guide alerted by some hammerkops. we 'discovered' this leopard on the banks of a Zambezi channel while canoeing. We tried to get a good view through this thicket before finally giving up and trying for a different vantage point. Thirty feet farther down the channel we saw him in full view for a few seconds before he realized he'd been discovered and slinked away.
