needed to add a point of interest to a very beautiful moment so I photographed sunset through dandelion

Zebra,s like to lean on each other

went with friends to photograph flamingo,early evening and got the sunset as bonus,

these are the sunsets we see over the bushman,s river, Kenton on sea late December and every night is different and spectacular,

It was Christmas day and the cousins were together on those rare occasions and i wanted to give it the vintage look so i found a photo of an empty win

this was taken on the dunes in the eastern cape south africa called woody cape the patterns were formed in the sand and the pic was taken from above t

we have these huge rocks at middle beach and most days at the changing of the tides we have a spectacular water show,

I was standing on bridge overlooking river the water and reflections were mirror image
, and along came the boat with the owner in the joy of the mom

love to take pics after it has rained and i was in friends garden and saw the beauty of this rose,

where sea and lagoon meet and a figure added to pic

Inspiration

There were flamingo,s in the mouth the river which not usually there and i went to get a photo, and then the most glorious sunset just kept unfolding.plus a bonus of flamingo,s, we have a wonderful creator God and i am inspired to share the joy of his creation with others,

Editing

Yes I used picasa only added a little shadow and enhanced the photo, if you take a good photo you only need a little adjustment.

In my camera bag

I have never owned a full slr camera, at the moment I am using a Fuji sx-1 which is a pict bridge I love this camera and I do not need to change lenses so in my bag I have 2 Batteries, 2 16 g sd cards cleaning equipment, a poncho raincoat, tabard for ticks and insects, my cell phone and a sunhat that blocks out uv rays. also a very light weight pair of binoculars

It is not always the most expensive camera or equipment but knowing the camera you have and a passion for what you do and being there at the right moment. and your sunset setting can be used for creating wonderful dramatic pics for sunrise as well.
