My husband and I traveled to South Padre Island, Texas to photograph the wildlife, both native to Texas and others flying through their migration pathways. In this image are Common Terns and either Franklin's Gulls or Laughing Gulls. While I love to photograph wildlife, bird identification is definitely a skill that I really need to work on to get somewhat good at. Identifying all of the different species of birds we saw on this trip definitely pushed me way beyond my bird ID skill level! I am STILL trying to identify some species. For example, there is a bird in the very back of the image with an orange beak. I have no idea its name. If you do, please feel free to let me know.
