Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken outside my dad's old fly fishing shop.

Time

Early morning right after sunrise.

Lighting

I wanted the steam from the river to capture the sun so I faced the sun and moved around until the shadows were where I liked.

Equipment

I just used my point and shoot camera.

Inspiration

I love scenic pictures and I had taken lots of this area before so when I walked out and saw the steam I just new it would be an amazing picture.

Editing

This photo is raw. There has been no editing some to it.

In my camera bag

While my passion is photography I don't have all the equipment I should. When packing all I grab is my Nikon L840 and some batteries.

Feedback

When winter first starts the air is colder than the water is. So if you are close to a river go out after the first snow and start taking picture at about sunrise and you will see steam.
