Behind The Lens
Location
I shot this picture at home. As a self taught hobbyist photographer, I try to learn a bit of everything. And I was just trying to take some portraits of my son at that time.Time
As a father I want to register every moment I can. For this one, I just opened the window in the morning and grabbed my camera...Lighting
When I opened the window and the morning light hit the room, I just wanted to register it because he was learning how to crawl on the bed.Equipment
I used my old Canon 60D and a 50mm f1.8 lens.Inspiration
I guess seeing my son growing up is what inspires me the most (and also quite challenging).Editing
I don’t like doing so much at the post-processing. I basically adjust the tons and colour and add some contrast on lightroom. In my camera bag
The Canon 60D is my first and only camera. I only have two lenses: Canon 50mm f1.8 and a Sigma 17-50mm f2.8. I’ve been an available light photographer since I started, but recently I’ve been using a Neewer TT560 and a Godox softbox that my wife gave me as birthday gift.Feedback
Kids are not easy subjects. But if u have one at home (like I do), keep your camera always close and be patient!
