Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the Oregon Coast very close to Depoe Bay.

Time

I believe I took this photo in the early afternoon right after lunch. I had decided to go down from the Otter Crest Inn condos where the beach is and take a walk and get some pictures before I had left.

Lighting

The sun wasn't out much that day, but the very cloudy blue looking sky had me amazed. I felt like it was the perfect kind of day.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3200. I can't remember exactly what lens I used but it was the only one I had at the time. I did not use a tripod or the flash.

Inspiration

The beauty of the blue sky and how green the rocks were, I felt mixed together very well and I thought it would turn out to be a gorgeous image.

Editing

I do not do any post-processing.

In my camera bag

I normally have my camera (of course), my lens(es), my add-on flash, an extra battery, extra memory card, and of course my tripod.

Feedback

Don't worry if it takes you a couple days or more to get the shot that you really would like. Just remember to always have patience, and to remember that there is no such thing as a bad picture. It's all a process and it's all art.
