Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. When it is full, it reflects a distinct shade of blue. The color is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis.

This was taken in the Canadian Rockies Alberta. Moraine Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes surrounded by the Ten Peaks.Time
I think we arrived there late morning it was back in September 2007 so cannot be sure. The lighting was just perfect with enough cloud to give some sky interestLighting
