Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken from a moving boat off the island of Noss which is one of the many islands that make up Shetland

Time

Not sure I think it was sometime in the late afternoon

Lighting

It was a dull flat day, which is why I replaced the sky

Equipment

It was many years ago and I can't be sure now

Inspiration

The gannet is one of my favourite seabirds and this was a breeding colony

Editing

I replaced the sky, which was a flat grey colour

In my camera bag

Spare battery and camera

Feedback

Pick a calm day if you want to shoot from a moving boat
