Location
This photo was taken on a random walk on my property. I live in the countryside , so walking around my acres you may come across things that stand out from day to day. I'm a photographer who did a little bit of online digital photography for a class, but the majority of my knowledge has been self taught threw trial and errors. I was however taught enough of the basics of photography to aide in my learning process. I am always willing to learn more .Time
This photo is amoung one of my favorites . On this day, this photo was taken on August 19 of this year. Normally in August the sun can be so blinding bright . It was taken mid afternoon at 2:28 pm. I was walking and had notice this beauty of a flower that I had not really ever seen before here on my property. So as usual I haft to check it out. Then of course take a photo. Wild flowers happen to be my favorite. To grow on the own it's truly nature fine art itself.Lighting
With this photo the lighting is from the sun itself . It just happen to be in the right spot. Somewhat in a tiny bit of a shaded area next to a building. Not even realizing that after first glance that this flower was meant for a image. I did have my back facing the sun , so as to not have direct sun only coming threw on this image.Equipment
I have lots of equipment. But on this day I only had my phone with me. It's a smart phone Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. I do however mostly use a camera app on my phone. One of favorites for nice photos is, cameringo lite app. No need for a flash on this day . So also no tripod use. I only knelt down and steady myself as much as possible. The lens I use most on flowers is macro, even on this app camera . It is one of my favorite lens's to put to use.Inspiration
In all honesty I wasn't expecting find this flower. So when I did find it on my walk . I do what I naturally do even if the only thing I had with me is my phone. Sometimes I have some of my greatest photos come from my phone.Editing
Yes their was one post-process I did do to this image. I had smudged this photo. It gave this image a life that even I hadn't exspected it to turn into. It gave this image a softness and smoothness image quality to this image. I didn't hold back on the smudge so it stood up with a blending to the flower itself, or on the image with the colors in this photo.In my camera bag
Actually I need a new bag due to my equipment growth. In my bag witch this time was not used. I have my canon eos rebel t5. I also carry my wide angle telephoto lens pro series 2.2 x high definition , my macro lens pro series, 0.43x high definition, and the one lens I can not l fit in my bag is my preset super telephoto lens 500 MM F/8 high definition. I have other things such a cleaning materials and of course my chargers and batteries ready to go most of the time.Feedback
My image was a total random shot , but that does not mean a total random unexpected image doesn't matter. For myself I have grown to realize that what I am personally great at is, digital manipulation in photography. I find beauty in so so many things, not that I want to change it's own Natural beauty. I only wish to enhance the way I see it. Their is nothing wrong in giving a image more beauty as to what you see in your own eyes. If I have any advise for you is, that you can take away from me. Is this, that not all images haft to be all natural untouched image. For people who truly like to enhance photos . I can only tell you experimenting is key. It is the one thing you can always change if you don't like way something turns out in editors you have many options to pick from . Some of the editors that have now have really great features to enhance your images. Playing around can even be pretty entertaining to say the least. Sometimes you don't always haft to go far away to get that one beautiful image . It could be closer then you think.
