Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my own back field. Living in the country my back field is just that, a farmed field. Storms were beginning to rolling in while outside chores was going on, so I do as always grab and high tail it to the open field out behind my home.

Time

This photo was taken in later part of the day. In between five and six p.m.

Lighting

The lighting here really speak for itself . Mothers nature's own lighting was at work here.

Equipment

I had little time to catch images, the clouds formed in so many ways and so very fast. This capture came from my yes, straight talk phone. Your truly don't need expensive equipment always . I do know this for I have expensive equipment too, to back this. No flash and or tripod needed.

Inspiration

Photography is such a art. Between landscapes, and so much more. I came to realize that the sky is one of my favorite photo shoots. Because anytime I can step outside and see a different piece of art in the sky, a different view daily . I find that to be inspiring art in magical nature photos.

Editing

Yes I did post processing . It was resized, and was in HDR. I however did mirror this imagine. I knew it would only enhance the formation of this wall clouds rolling in.

In my camera bag

This was strickly a phone capture. My bag didn't get the chance this time. But in my bag I usually have my battery's charged up and ready. I actual have two canon cameras in there, a mini tripod, my cables , and chargers. With room for my growing wants.

Feedback

My advise for anyone trying to capture similar images is this, it is patients and eyes to the sky. I took many photos before the right formations formed. The lighting you just know when you see the right moments. Train your eyes for colors and depth in those images. Those intense moments stand out on their own. Yes mother nature sure can make her own art but catching it at the right moments is a timing game so to. speak.
